I am here at the World Youth Congress in Sterling, Scotland, attending as a cultural performer with our group Zephyr. We will be performing music this friday which draws on cultures from all around the world such as Indian, English, Muslim, Medievil Latin and Gospal American. A tad bit nervous, but looking forward to it.

Our group's basis is founded in a meditation that we all practice called Sahaja Yoga and which has it's roots in India. Along with our global music we also bring with each of us our own diversity in nationality with group members coming from Italy, England, Lithuania, Canada, Austria, Scotland, Australia and Hong Kong/Vietnam.

We express in our music and way of life, a global culture that transcends all boundaries of nation, person or belief and brings us together in something that is much more whole, sustainable and balanced. The meditation gives us a practical basis that helps us to live more peacefully in both personal and social spheres of our lives.
